Designed specifically for busy working adults, our Diploma in Massage Therapy combines the art and science of massage to provide a comprehensive educational experience. As a massage therapist, you'll engage directly with clients, using touch to manipulate the soft tissues of the body, helping them manage stress, alleviate pain, rehabilitate injuries, and promote overall health.
This 12-month program offers a robust curriculum that covers therapeutic relaxation massage techniques alongside detailed studies of human anatomy and physiology. Our format is tailored to accommodate the schedules of working adults, offering online courses that are accessible 24/7. Additionally, we provide monthly weekend hands-on sessions at our Lincoln facility to ensure practical, experiential learning.
The program also includes a hometown externship, allowing you to practice and refine your skills within your community. With a total of 1,000 hours, our program meets the licensing standards required by many states outside Nebraska, preparing you for success as a skilled, entry-level massage therapist..
Students engage in an intensive study that covers massage theory, techniques, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and business essentials. The program is designed for rapid completion, allowing students to fulfill their 90 credit hours in 12 months.
Unique to our institute, students can tailor their education to their career aspirations by selecting specialized classes that align with their interests. Both residential and online class options are available.
